I am tied to the Caspius like Fi to Ghirahim and the results are just as catastrophic and beautiful. While I stumble through the barren ugly paradise of Canada in real reality, I continue to search for and hide from meaning in video games.

When it comes to single player games, I tend to prefer games that are lonely in tone, simple in narrative, complex in theme, and complex in character. Despite the JRPG being my favourite genre, I think there is a pandemic of far too much text in video games and therefore I am drawn to and dream of games that prefer to be suggestive instead of explicit in their statements.

All that being said, I am also a strong believer of not judging an interactive work until some time after completion at the very soonest. I hold great value in the exchange of impressions and reactions but I feel as though the distinction between “reaction” and “review” has been blurred to the point of absurdity.

All I know is that I don’t know.
